Abstract

This study aims to identify the number of studies and related keywords that focus on sentiment analysis in service quality research, as well as countries and the most cited authors that have published relevant articles on sentiment analysis in service quality research that can be found in the Scopus database from 1992 to 2024. This study uses bibliometric analysis by extracting only the documents related to the terms “sentiment analysis in service quality,” which are available in the Scopus database and range from 1992 to May 2024. The top three countries with the most co-authorship are the United States, India, and China. Meanwhile, 5,382 keywords were found to be used for the relevant topic published in the Scopus database, while the most common keywords were sentiment analysis, data mining, and machine learning. This study implies that researchers who are interested in conducting sentiment analysis in service quality should provide a systematic overview on identifying global supporting literature more effectively. Meanwhile, the findings also allow researchers to build a research collaborate with experts from different countries to enhance the sustainable value of publications in the relevant field of study. This study contributes as a valuable reference and literature review that uses bibliometric analysis on sentiment analysis in service quality by extracting data from the Scopus database recognized by academics worldwide. All procedures performed in studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional.
